Role: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and renowned teaching assistant at one our top mainstream schools located in Greenwich, South East London. As a Teaching Assistant, your fundamental responsibility, will be to support a classroom of students with day-to-day school activities, mainly English and Maths. You will collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.

What we want from you:

• Experience working with students with varied behaviour, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
• Knowledge of school curriculum.
• Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating a attitude to help students.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in varied situations.

Requirements:

• 1 year school experience
• CACHE level 3 qualification
• Safeguarding experience
• GCSE Maths and English
