Job description

A Teaching Assistant (ASD) to work within a lovely school on a full time basis to start in September. This is a full-time position running for an academic year in the first instance. The position is going to be working with a pupil at the school and supporting them with their learning. The roles will include working alongside teachers to aid and help a student across various subjects. The school is keen to look over CVs ASAP and interview Teaching Assistants in September.

The Ideal SEN/ASD TA

We are looking for bright, energetic individuals who either have experience working in primary schools or who are educated to degree level and have an interest in working with SEN children/young people. The ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Emotional Intelligence
  • Experience in a Classroom, Social Care or Youth work setting
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy Skills
