About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Brent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people's learning and development in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support students in the classroom, individually and in small groups

• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management

• Support students with additional learning needs (SEND, EAL, or behavioural needs where required)

• Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

• Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence

• Support pupils' academic progress and social development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)

• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A genuine interest in education and supporting student success

• Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
