Remedy Education are looking for a patient, passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in South London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who genuinely wants to make a difference and support children with a range of additional needs.

The school is supportive, well-resourced, and offers excellent guidance for both new and experienced SEN TAs.

The role:

• Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language and learning delays)

• Supporting teachers with daily classroom activities

• Helping children engage, stay focused and feel confident

• Assisting with personalised learning plans

• Creating a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience supporting SEN students (school, nursery or youth work experience welcome)

• Calm, patient and able to build strong relationships

• Confident supporting behaviour and emotional needs

• Reliable, enthusiastic and willing to learn

• Holds an Enhanced DBS or happy to apply for one
