Remedy Education are supporting a number of schools in Southwark as they require 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants for September 2021.

Your new company
You will have the opportunity to work in several excellent schools and nurseries located within the Southwark area as an SEN Teaching Assistant. These schools are searching for day-to-day, long-term, and short-term support throughout this academic year and from September 2021. The Schools that we work with are committed to improving the learning outcome of their pupils and are dedicated to ensuring that all standards are maintained. As a result of this, we are recruiting for a number of Teaching Assistants, Early Years Teaching Assistants as well as candidates with experience working with children that have additional needs.

Your new role
In your new role you will be working in one of a number of schools in the Southwark area. You will be working with children of various ages and capability in either a nursery or primary school, depending on your area of expertise. A number of these roles are on a one-to-one basis with SEN pupils and a focus on language and social development.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this role you will need the following:

• GCSE Maths and English minimum C grade or equivalent
• Previous experience working with SEN students is adventitious but not essential for all roles
• You will hold a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience in a school or nursery setting that can be referenced
