On behalf of a Lambeth secondary school, we are recruiting a teacher of mathematics to join their dedicated and skilled department. Teacher of Mathematics - The Role:

The head of department is seeking an innovative teacher of mathematics to teach full time ASAP for one term in the first instance, however there is a strong possibility for this to be extended in to the new academic year.

As this is a long term role you will be expected to plan and prepare maths lessons for KS3 and KS4 students. You will deliver these lessons in a positive learning environment, complete the marking and assessment of student's work and ensure all are progressing consistently and achieving target grades.

The Successful Teacher of Mathematics Must:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold QTS or QTLS
  • Have recent experience teaching mathematics (this includes school placements for NQTs)
  • Possess excellent behaviour management skills
  • Hold a DBS certificate registered to the Update Service (or be willingly to apply for a new certificate - we can help with this process)
