Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Haringey

Remedy Education are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our amazing SEN school based in Haringey. This fantastic, specialist school are looking for a reliable, kind and passionate teaching assistant to join their team ASAP.

You will be working within the classroom supporting the teacher with the daily running's of the class and the teaching of students, you will support children 1:1 and in small groups with reading, writing and development.

To be accepted for this role you must have:

• Good behaviour management skills
• Must have worked with SEN before
• Must have 2 years experience working within a school
• Must be available immediately
• Must have a good understanding of various special needs

They are a specialist learning provision that is currently looking to employ a SEN teaching Assistant. The school is proud to provide 'Learning for Life' for pupils aged 4 - 19 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, ASD, ADHD and mild to moderate learning needs.

The Head teacher is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who has a professional and outgoing personality and an empathetic manner coupled with excellent communication skills. Being able to build open and supportive relationships with pupils is a must!
