Job description
Our client South Gloucestershire is looking for a Team Manager to join their LAC team.
Candidates must have extensive first hand and experience managing a LAC Team in a like for like role.
The purpose of the role is to lead, manage and organise teams, within the service area and a framework of relevant strategic priorities to enable the delivery of personalised care services.
Key responsibilities
Create and maintain a highly competent and participative work environment through visible leadership providing management and professional supervision to a range of professionals
Promote professional standards in the service area by developing outcome-focused teams that understand their contribution to the service and the wider success of the Council
Take responsibility for the management of cases within the relevant service area in accordance with the Safeguarding procedures for vulnerable people
Work with and influence partner organisations to maximise the effective provision and/or development of joint care services
Make a significant contribution to budget management and / or manage a significant budget. Monitor spending and ensure that accurate budgeting, reporting and any necessary corrective action is carried out.
You will need to be:
Social work england registered
Eligible to work in the UK
Atleast 1 year post qualifying experience
