Job description

Our client, South Gloucestershire Council is looking for a Team Manager to join their Children With Disabilities team.

Their whole 0-25 service based in Yate; working with families across all of South Gloucestershire and includes the children's teams, Adult social care, Children OT and the Pathway for Adults team, all of whom seek to provide high quality support to disabled children and young people and their families. In the Children with disabilities team they are working to ensure disabled children are appropriately safeguarded and supported to achieve their full potential, and help them and their families achieve the very best out of life.

The team is divided into two smaller teams covering the whole of South Gloucestershire, to ensure their managers have a smaller number of staff to oversee, with the aim of ensuring they in turn receive high quality supervision and support, so that together we are able to provide positive the best support advice and guidance to disabled children, young people and their families.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
