Our client, Solihull Borough Council is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their LAC Team

The Looked After Children's Team in Solihull is recruiting for one full time agency social worker role initially for a three month period. Social workers within the looked after children's team have responsibility for securing permanency for children with plans of adoption, long term fostering and special guardianship. They also work closely with corporate parents to support children to develop their life skills, achieve to their full potential and work towards their aspirations.

Social worker's considering applying must have 12 month Looked After Children Social Work or Care Proceedings work.They must have sound assessment, safety planning and care planning skills. They must be a car drive and be able to work flexibly.

You will need to be:

Social work england registered
Eligible to work in the UK
Atleast 1 year post qualifying experience
