Job description
Our client, Sheffield City Council is looking for a Social Worker to join their Adult Locality team.
We are looking for a social worker with experience of Adult social care, As a qualified and registered social worker, you will work closely with service users, colleagues and partners, providing a strong and articulate social work voice in a multi-disciplinary environment.
You will have a clear understanding of recent legislation and initiatives relevant to social care, good inter-personal skills with the ability to work on your own as well as being part of a team and have proven ability to use IT systems. Must be able to assess / reassess service users for care packages, the ability to work autonomously with good organisational skills.
Familiar or able to work with Liquid Logic (our electronic social care record system) would be an advantage, although training will be given to the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be required to carry out home visits for assessments/ reviews following a risk assessment , there is the option of hybrid working (from the office and remote working).
Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
