Service Manager, Adoption, Fostering, CWD
If you are a Qualified Social Worker with a background working with Children in Need, we want to hear from you.
You will be building effective relationship with the Child in question, to ensure a ful\ly integrated and holistic approach.
Main duties include:
- Post holder is responsible for ensuring that Adoption, Fostering and CWD Service is appropriately staffed and supervised to deliver the best outcomes for children across a range of interventions. To be the Council's expert on all aspects of safeguarding, fostering, adoption, placements, threshold interventions, partnership working, including relevant legislation, statutory regulations and guidance, research evidence and practice models.
The role will make a major contribution to the delivery of the vision and the strategic priorities for our vulnerable and at risk children, by managing the delivery and performance of high quality social work provision to Children who require a social work intervention by Thurrock.
Essential requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- ASYE complete
- Experience with Children in Need
