Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Service Manager to work for Bradford Metropolitan District Council's Children in Care Service.

Job Purpose

• To be responsible for the effective leadership and management of children in care social work provision within BMDC. Ensuring that the service achieves good outcomes for children in care.
• Ensure that high quality safeguarding practices and policies are in place and fully implemented.
• To provide visible leadership to a service that seeks to continuously improve outcomes to the most vulnerable young people in the community.
• To ensure that statutory requirements and national and local policy and procedures in relation to the provision of children's social work are adhered to at all times and manage social work resources efficiently and effectively, prioritising need and working cooperatively within the Service Management Team.

You will need to be:

• SWE registered
• Eligible to work in the UK
