Senior Social Worker - East Riding of Yorkshire Council - Hospital Social Work Team - Up to £40ph!

East Riding council hospital social work teams cover hull royal Infirmary and Castle Hill hospitals and have a 22 bedded discharge to assess service based at Castle Hill hospital. The successful agency social worker will be covering the majority of work at Castle Hill and suite 20 however there will be occasions where work at Hull royal is required. After initial induction will support a blended approach of home and office working giving the successful candidate the ability to have a work life balance. There will be occasions where face to face visits with clients are required all safety precautions are taken to protect the safety of the workers but this is a vital part of a hospital facing roll. The team is a well developed team and these posts are created to increase the capacity of the team due to the current requirements on the service from the trusts.

The role of agency social worker is completing proportionate community care assessments under the discharge to assess process and to plan in a person centred Manor a safe supported discharge from hospital. A sound knowledge of MCA and recording skills is required due to the fast paced nature of hospital social work.
