Remedy Recruitment Group are currently an experienced Senior Practitioner to work within a Childrens Emergency Duty Team for Swindon Council.

Job Purpose

EDS operates 7 days a week 365 days a year.
We currently cover all hours outside daytime structures.
The shifts are from 16.40pm - 08.40am Mon-thurs (we call control)
16.40pm - 23.40pm Mon-thurs (we call operational)
16.00pm-09.00am Fridays
9.00am-21.00pm sat &Sun day (+ Bank holidays)
21.00pm-09.00am sat & Sun night + Bank holidays)
The rota is three months in advance.

• We cover all aspects of social work such as (CP, CIN strategies, assessments under the mental health act, safeguarding , adults).
• To work within this sphere any Locum would have to be an experienced social worker. For example the social worker would have to be comfortable lone working and be able to undertake strategies and safeguarding work on their own. Preferably we would like the social worker to be AMHP qualified but an experienced childcare worker will do. Any worker will have to be confident and robust in their approach.
• EDS in Swindon is a forward thinking team with a vast amount of experience which results in a excellent working environment. Any worker in the team will be fully supported by the manager and team. You will undergo all significant training regarding computers access and input.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
