Job description
Business Improvement and Analysis Manager.
Business requirements and business process re-engineering for ITSM, Applications rationalisation, Telephony works. To facilitate delivery of the oneSources's strategic objectives and priorities through: * Creating, delivering and implementing business improvement and analysis projects within both oneSource and with the Partner Councils that enable services to become more efficient and effective, applying appropriate business improvement skillsets (such as LEAN, Agile, Systems Thinking and other similar methodology and techniques). * Working in collaboration with the Business Improvement and Analysis Manager and other officers (including those from outside the team), and with diverse services and programmes from across oneSource and the Partner Councils to deliver a coherent, evidence-based improvement and efficiencies programme. * Providing accurate advice, training, mentoring and support on business improvement and business optimisation techniques to officers in oneSource and the Partner Councils. Promoting a dynamic, collaborative approach to the development and implementation of business improvement projects and programme and project management in order to deliver on organisational priorities.

Key tasks and accountabilities are intended to be a guide to the range and level of work expected of the postholder. This is not an exhaustive list of all tasks that may fall to the postholder and employees will be expected to carry out such other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time.
To work both independently and as part of a project team to deliver and / or support projects that enable services to implement more efficient and effective business structures, processes and service delivery.
To support the continuous improvement objectives by creating, developing and providing an efficient and effective business improvement and analysis programme.
To carry out business improvement and analysis projects by applying skills including evidence-based scoping and root-cause analysis, benchmarking, research, data analysis, end-to-end process mapping (including process modelling for complex systems) and redesign and benefits profiling in order to generate and evaluate options for future service delivery.
