An outstanding SEND school based in Enfield, North London, are on the hunt for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and experienced team on a long term to permanent basis.

Position: SEND Teaching Assistant

Start: ASAP

Location: London Borough of Enfield

Contract: Full Time (Ongoing)

Pay: £95 - £110 Per Day (PAYE or Umbrella)

Setting: Primary School

Job Description

The school is a mixed school catering for pupils aged between 4 - 11 years old with Autism ADHD and Dyslexia. Most pupils also have Autism and additional physical/sensory disabilities. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be co-coordinating with various health care professional and class teachers. Ensuring that all pupils have the best support.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
