SEND Teacher - Secondary Community School - Southwark
We are looking for an outstanding SEND Teacher to work in one of our top SEND school based in Southwark, South East London, is looking for a SEND teacher to join their dedicated and experienced team on a long term to permanent basis in September 2024.
Job Description
The school is a mixed school catering for pupils aged between 11 - 19 years old with Autism. Most pupils also have Autism, SLD, and additional physical and sensory disabilities.
The successful SEND teacher's day-to-day role will include delivering creative and person-centred lessons to up to 8 learners in a pre-formal class.

To be considered for this role you will need:
- Must have QTS
- Demonstrable knowledge of and a passion for SEND
- Makaton and PECS - not essential but highly desirable
- Experience working with Complex Needs and ASD
