SEN Tutor - Bromley

Location: Bromley

Job Type: Part-time, flexible hours

Salary: £20 per hour

Subject: SEN Tutor

Start Date: September 2020

Teaching ages 11-15

I am currently seeking an experienced SEN Tutor who will require SEN specific teaching strategies and a nurturing approach to behaviour management. The role is situated in Bromley and the role is to start ASAP.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (essential)
  • SEN Teacher
  • Ability to teach Key Stage 3 Curriculum
  • Team-teach trained (desirable)
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for education.
  • A non-judgemental and empathetic approach
  • Current DBS

Tutor Specification:

The successful SEN Teacher will be excellent classroom teachers with a commitment to fulfilling the needs of the experiencing behavioural, emotional or learning difficulties, and social communication difficulties. You will have the desire to create a culture of learning, where children are happy, enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious. Ensuring that the classroom is a positive and stimulating learning environment.

About the Tutor Role:

In this SEN Tutor position, you will be working with challenging behaviour and therefore be strong and adaptable with your teaching approach. Delivering the Key stage 3 Curriculum and reconnecting them with education so they can make progress in becoming successful adults.
