Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are looking for dedicated SEN Tutors to join our team in North Northamptonshire for a flexible, fulfilling, and impactful role.

Role Requirements

  • Pay: £30 -£35 per hour DOE

  • DBS: Must have an up-to-date DBS check (DBS on the Update Service preferred)

  • Experience: Previous experience supporting students with SEN is highly desirable

  • Location: North Northamptonshire

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face support to students with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, GDD, SEMH, PMLD, ODD, and SEBD, in the home or at local community settings (e.g., libraries, community centres).

  • Plan personalised lessons and resources tailored to each student's needs across core subjects and/or life skills.

  • Deliver engaging, thoughtful sessions that support academic and personal development.

  • Apply strategies to build confidence, emotional regulation, and independence.

  • Manage challenging behaviours with patience, consistency, and professionalism.

  • Track learning progress and provide detailed monthly reports.

  • Incorporate outdoor or nature-based learning when appropriate to enhance engagement.

  • Use visual communication tools where needed to support understanding.
