Remedy Tutors is a specialist tuition agency who works closely with schools and local authorities to provide qualified teachers for 1:1 tuition for children with complex needs.

We are looking for a qualified SEN tutor to work with us delivering tuition for a complex year 5 student in Lewisham. The student is non-verbal with severe learning difficulties who uses Makaton and photo cards to communicate.

Teaching 1-2-1 in a home environment where you will be required to liaise with carers to create appropriate lesson plans to suit the students needs.

This work is not supply work and can be fitted in with your working schedule.

Requirements:

• Background teaching core subjects and SEN students from KS2-KS3
• Makaton trained is essential
• QTS status (or equivalent)
• Two years of teaching in a UK SEN school
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
