Remedy are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our amazing School based in Islington North London.

You will be working within the classroom supporting students with their learning, you will support students 1:1 who need extra support. You must be patient and nurturing for students who are struggling with their emotions and learning.

Our lovely school based in Islington are looking for someone to start straight away. The welcoming staff and friendly students are looking for an exciting member to join their team.

For this role, ideally you will:

• Be available 5 days a week
• Have an up to date DBS
• Have previous experience catering for pupils with a range of SEND requirements, including; ASD/PMLD/complex needs
• Have excellent communication skills, to effectively engage all pupils in the learning
• Be able to use positive reinforcement, in accordance with the schools behaviour policy, to effectively manage behaviour and promote outstanding learning within the classroom
