To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following:

  • 1st or 2:1 Russell Group (preferable) Psychology or core subject degree
  • School based experience
  • Strong Literacy or Numeracy knowledge

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you would be working with students of varying abilities in a Key Stage 2 class including a high proportion of pupils with mild to severe Special Educational Needs. This would be a fantastic opportunity for you to not only use your knowledge and skills but build on them during this SEN Teaching Assistant placement.

The school would be ideally searching for a graduate with a 1st or 2:1 with prior experience of working with children or within an education setting. A patient and supportive manner is essential for this role and knowledge of Special Educational needs would be desired.
