SEN Teaching Assistant | Downs Syndrome & ADHD Focus | Fantastic School | Lewisham

Remedy Education are working closely with a creative and supportive Primary School in the Borough of Lewisham who are on the hunt for several SEN Teaching Assistants for a January 2019 start.

Your role will involve you supporting a lovely, friendly and academically gifted young child that has been diagnosed with Downs Syndrome (SEN) in the morning. In the afternoon your focus will switch over to supporting several children who suffer with ADHD. Your main duty will be to keep them on task and help raise attainment across English and Mathematics.

The School are renowned for their friendly and supportive feel throughout. This make it a lovely environment to work in day to day and is a brilliant starting block for a hardworking and passionate graduate.

  • January 2019 start - Long-Term & Full Time
  • £70 - £85 per day
  • Located in the Borough of Lewisham

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

  • Degree from a reputable University required
  • Good understanding of Downs Syndrome & ADHD (SEN)
  • Must be willing to get stuck in, and not back down from a challenge
  • You must be able to motivate and inspire the younger generation
  • Experience working with Downs Syndrome or ADHD would be desirable, but not essential
