PMLD experienced Teaching Assistant required urgently for a school based in Lambeth, South West London.
SEN TA with experience of working with children with PMLD - Lambeth
A lovely school in Lambeth dedicated to providing outstanding education to students with Special Educational Needs are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant with extensive experience with PMLD.
SEN Teaching Assistant with PMLD experience
The Person:
-MUST have previous SEN experience with children with PMLD
-MUST be dependable, consistent, punctual, hardworking and highly committed
-Open to professional training and development opportunities
The Role:
-Working with students experiencing Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
-All-through school with students being aged between 19-25 years of age
-£70-£80 per day
The School:
-A school for children with a range of complex needs
-An 'outstanding' Special Educational Needs (SEN)
-Hugely supportive and understanding leadership team
This opportunity is best suited to a remarkably hard-working and highly-dependable person experienced with PMLD, SEN Teaching Assistant with at least an NVQ Level 2 TA qualification or other related to education.
The role involves providing support at the schools children's homes, who are having to study from home due to COVID. The student has been sent work home and the role is to assist the student with their work to ensure they stay on task and providing any help and assistance they may need, and working towards each student's individual learning objectives.
Ideal candidate will be able to drive and have their own transport, a DBS with the update service and are willing to wear a Fit testing face mask.
