Special needs Teaching Assistant

Remedy Education are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our lovely school based in Barking and Dagenham. The secondary school support children with complex needs and ASD.

You will be working within the classroom and sensory rooms supporting the students throughout the day, you will look after their individual needs as well as getting them engaged in education.

The school are looking for experienced teaching assistants who have a good knowledge of manual handling, SEN needs, autism and PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties)

The Head teacher is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who has a professional and outgoing personality and an empathetic manner coupled with excellent communication skills. Being able to build open and supportive relationships with pupils is a must!
