I am currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistants with a nurturing and encouraging nature for school in West Drayton

My school is a well facilitated Alternative Provision specialising based in the borough of West Drayton, with good transport links. The position is to start in September 2019.

The ideal candidates will possess strong classroom skills, an engaging and encouraging approach and a nurturing manner.

Key requirements:

1:1 support with some classroom support

Experience with medical & emotional needs which prevents attendance in mainstream school

Nurturing manner

Current DBS

Be available to interview

Teaching Assistant Specification
The successful Teaching Assistants will have the ability to access each of the student's potential. Experience with adolescent mental health and/or SEN would be beneficial and available to start immediately. You will be patient, caring, show initiative and believe you have the potential to deliver outstanding outcomes.

About the Teaching Assistant Role:
In these Teaching Assistant position, you will be working with adolescent mental health and/or SEN and therefore need to be strong and adaptable with your approach. Supporting pupil progress and development in and outside the classroom, complementing the work and direction given by the Teacher.

The School:
The school is an Alternative Provision specialising in educating children and young people with complex emotional needs. Situated in Croydon for students aged between 11-19 years old. You can easily commute to the school via public transport.
