An Outstanding Primary School in the London Borough of Lewisham are searching for two SEN Teaching Assistants for a an ASAP start. We are looking for Graduates with a good knowledge of SEN, a passion for working with children and a strong academic background.

If you're considering becoming a Primary Teacher, the school offer a fantastic Salaried Schools Direct training programme in-house, meaning you can train to become a qualified teacher without forking out for a PGCE.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will mostly be supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in and out of the classroom. You will be working with children in group settings as well as 1:1, ranging from pupils with mild needs such as Dyslexia and ADHD to children with more complex needs such as ASD, GDD and EBD.

Person Specification:

• 2:1 degree or above
• Experience with children in any setting
• Understanding of how British Primary Schools work
• Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Any additional experience similar to an SEN Teaching Assistant role beneficial

• Location: Lewisham, South East London
• Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Pay: £70 - £85 per day (paid on a weekly basis)
• Start Date: September 2018 - > July 2019
