Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, creating a safe space where students can thrive and reach their full potential.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, ideally with a focus on ASD and SEMH.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN, demonstrating empathy, patience, and understanding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Knowledge of effective SEN teaching strategies and interventions, as well as a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in SEN support are desirable but not essential.
