SEN Teacher/Lecturer - SLD/PMLD - 16-25 year olds - NQT Considered - Central London - Complex Learning Difficulties -September Start

SEN Teacher required for a post 16 provision based in Greenwich. The provision caters for young people and adults with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties. We now have a permanent vacancy to start in September for an experienced teacher or NQT.

If you have experience working with young people or adults with complex needs then we would like to hear from you. Applicants should be creative individuals with the ability to plan and teach their own lessons.

The curriculum in the post 16 provision is focused around Personal Progress, Employability Skills and some Functional Skills. Previous experience teaching some or all of these kind of skills in 11-16 or post 16 provision is essential for the role.

The successful SEN Lecturer will be joining a provision that is committed to providing a motivating and friendly educational environment. The students enjoy learning and the supportive staff team provide a fantastic environment for you to develop your career and hone your skills.

The school offers on-going training, which will give you the opportunity to develop innovative patterns of classroom practice as an SEN Teacher. You will benefit from the school's extensive facilities and exceptional in class support provided by the dedicated and skilled staff team. There is wide-ranging contribution from the multidisciplinary team including speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, as well as a highly experienced team of teaching staff.
