Remedy Education are working with a well-established secondary SEN school in Brent that supports students aged 11-19 with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), severe learning difficulties, complex health needs, and communication challenges.

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to work with a KS4/KS5 class of students with ASC, complex needs, and communication difficulties. You'll plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet pupils' individual needs, supported by a skilled team of Teaching Assistants and therapists.

Key Responsibilities
Teach and support students in KS4/KS5 with ASC, severe learning needs, and communication difficulties.
Plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets and abilities.
Adapt teaching approaches and resources to engage students of varying needs and levels.
Foster a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with TAs, therapists, and the wider SEN team.
Encourage independence, communication, and personal development.
Track and report on student progress, maintaining accurate and meaningful records.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching or supporting students with ASC, complex learning difficulties, or communication needs.
Knowledge of strategies for managing behaviour and promoting positive engagement.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
