SEN Teacher - ASAP Start - Borough of Enfield

Remedy Education are currently looking for a Primary SEN teacher to join an SEN School. You will be working with small classes of students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) or SEN. This is a full time, long-term role starting As soon as possible. You will mainly be covering a modified KS1 and 2 curriculums with Years 3 and 4

This is a vibrant SEN primary school based in the heart of Enfield whose aim is to help students feel more engaged in their learning with a view to help them transition back into the mainstream classroom.

As the SEN teacher you will be responsible for the below:

  • Quality and effective delivery of lessons lesson to pupils in the Provision
  • Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions.
  • Support behaviour by following the children's plans.
  • Contributing to setting targets for children
  • Working alongside the SENCO and other professionals in the support network
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers

To join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need:

  • QTS
  • Knowledge of, or previous experience teaching children with SEMH or SEN
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
