Special Educational Needs Teacher

Salary: £120 - £170 per day

Location: North London

Contract: Long Term - Perm if you are the right fit

The Role - SEN Teacher

We are currently recruiting for an exceptional experienced SEN Teacher to teach a Primary class, Year 5 - 6 with a low level of learning with special needs. As a SEN Teacher you will be teaching a class of between 5-8 students, where you will be planning, delivering and differentiating lessons according to each student's learning styles. You will have 2 TA's who will work under your directions supporting you with the day to day running of the class. Specialist subjects are not requested as the school curriculum is personalised to meet each student needs and learning ability. Experienced mainstream Teacher's with a passion to teach special needs will be considered

This is a successful SEN school located in the heart of North London who cater for children with ASD, Complex Needs Speech and Language with Challenging Behaviour. The headteacher is focused on assuring that every student enjoys their time spent here. Staff focus on encouraging each student to gain social skills, independency whilst making learning fun for them, using a range of specialist interventions and approaches. This is a warm and welcoming SEN school with great transport links and onsite parking.
