SEN TA in Greenwich - Autism & SEMH
Remedy Education have partnered with a fantastic Primary school in Greenwich who are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP on a long term basis.

The role will involve working with 1:1 with two pupils with Autism and SEMH. The SEN Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with children who suffer mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviour or have learning difficulties, eg. Autism.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs. The ideal candidate will have degree graded 2.2 or above, good literacy and numeracy skills, and previous experience working with SEN children.
The ideal SEN TA for this Primary school in Greenwich will be confident and passionate about working with students who need extra Learning Support. Ideally, the successful Learning Support Assistant will have excellent behaviour management skills and desirably some form of restraint training. Ideally the SEN Teaching Assistant will have a sporty background or keen interest in sports.
The ideal SEN TA will be able to commit for the full academic year and the expected salary will be from £75-£85 per day. Relevant previous experience would include youth work, support work, mental health work and SEN in sport.
