SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Stratford, East London
Pay: £96-£115 per day
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are working with a supportive school in Stratford looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the classroom.

You will be supporting pupils with needs including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and communication needs, working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to help them access learning and develop independence.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support

• Support pupils with academic, social and emotional development

• Assist with behaviour regulation and emotional support

• Support personal care where required

• Work closely with teachers and the SEN team

• Create a calm, positive and structured learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or care background)

• Be patient, reliable and nurturing

• Be confident supporting behaviour and emotional needs

• Be comfortable with personal care if required

• Work well as part of a team

• Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
