SEN School Care Worker £70 - £85 per Day (Greenwich)

Remedy Education are working with a SEN school in Greenwich who are seeking experienced care workers who can positively provide provision to those who have a range of needs including; ASD, speech, language and communication difficulties, PMLD, ADHD and moderate learning difficulties.

Ideally, you will:

• Experience with challenging behaviour is imperative
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour, promote focus and encourage positive social interaction
• Great sense of humour
• Live in the Greenwich area
• Reliability is extremely important for this role as this child is high functioning ASD
• Experience in care work
• Experience working with SEN students in a school setting is desirable
• Must have in date DBS on update serve
• Care work experience is desirable
• Must have a clear DBS on the update service

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher
• Working with children individually and in small groups
• Encouraging children to reach their potential
• Manage challenging behaviour
• Encourage and motivate SEN students
