SEN Primary Teacher - Complex Needs Class (Haringey)

Location: Haringey, London
Position: SEN Primary Teacher
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that cater to a variety of abilities and complex needs, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with support staff, therapists, and the SENCO team.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Use alternative communication strategies and sensory-based approaches to enhance student engagement.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' overall development and well-being.

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong understanding of SEN strategies and complex needs.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN and complex needs, ideally within a primary school setting.
