SEN PMLD Learning Support Assistant - The Role

Working as an SEN PMLD Learning Support Assistant you will need to have a compassionate and sympathetic nature. You will be working in a classroom with 7 students that have a range of abilities. You will be comfortable with manual handling and personal care and will have experience working with students that are immobile and non-verbal. In class, there is a fun and enthusiastic teacher with four support staff working together to bring a dynamic and holistic approach to their student's learning.

SEN PMLD Learning Support Assistant - The School

The school is a PMLD school in the borough of Greenwich with over 100 students on roll meaning the school is completely oversubscribed. They cater to the needs of children ranging from severe to profound and multiple learning difficulties. The majority of their students are non-verbal and have medical needs and EHCPs. You will be working with students that have ASD and more complex needs.
