Maths Teacher
Location: Islington, North London
Pay: £200-£250 per day
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Islington. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students and deliver high-quality maths teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities

• Track pupil progress and provide effective feedback

• Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment

• Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team

• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

• Ability to motivate and engage learners

• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
