A large, multi-cultural secondary school in Lewisham are looking for a number of Learning support assistants to work with pupils with SEN across the school for the rest of the academic year.

The Role

In this role you will be providing support to individual students who have a range of special needs. You will support pupils in lessons and throughout the school in transitions and breaktimes as required. You will be supporting across all subjects and should have a good understanding of English and Maths. You will work with the SEN department and teaching staff to ensure pupils are provided with the right support for their needs. As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will benefit from support meetings and coaching provided by qualified mentors with the school as part of their professional development programme.

The school are looking for SEN Learning Support Assistants who have previous experience working with young people either in a school or community setting.
