The Ideal SEN Teacher

I am seeking a qualified teacher with QTS who has knowledge and experience in teaching children with special educational needs and physical disabilities. It is highly desirable that you have the ability to inspire and develop pupils to achieve their full potential. You must have great communication skills and a positive approach to working in collaboration with multi-professional agencies to secure the best outcomes for all children. The ideal applicant will have excellent classroom management skills and an ability to effectively lead a team of support assistants.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
  • All classes have an abundance of support (3-4 support staff at a time)
  • Using various teaching strategies and resources to ensure students are engaged in their learning.
  • Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure student's progress & well-being.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social and emotional development of students.
