SEN and SEMH Teaching Assistant | Camden, North West London | ASAP or January 2019 Start

We are currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to work on a 1:1 or group basis supporting students with SEN or SEMH needs in schools in North West London

The ideal candidates will possess strong classroom/behaviour management skills, an engaging and encouraging approach and a nurturing manner.

Key requirements:

** Specialist SEMH and SEN School experience

** Challenging behaviour and complex needs experience

** Team-teach trained, desirable

** Willingness to restrain

** Current DBS

** Be available to interview immediately

Teaching Assistant Specification:

The successful Teaching Assistants will have experience supporting challenging behaviour and/or other complex needs, have strong classroom and behaviour management and available to start immediately. You will be resilient, show initiative and believe you have the potential to deliver outstanding outcomes.

About the Teaching Assistant Role:

In these Teaching Assistant position, you will be working with challenging behaviour and/or other complex needs and therefore be strong and adaptable with your approach. Supporting pupil progress and development in and outside the classroom, complementing the work and direction given by the Teacher
