The Head Teacher of a sector-leading therapeutic school is looking to recruit a confident Primary Teacher to join their committed team on a full-time, Long term basis.

In this unique Primary Teacher role, you will be teaching children who have suffered adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), many of whom will have complex SEMH and learning needs.

This SEMH Primary Teacher position is open to applications from experienced Primary Teachers and NQTs alike, however applicants must be confident in their ability to deal with challenging behaviour. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated and resilient individual with the capability to hit the ground running.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

·Experienced Primary Teacher or NQT

·Must hold UK QTS

·Confident, resilient, and able to deal with challenging behaviour

·Graded as 'Good' or 'Outstanding' in lesson observations

·A good understanding of the Eight Teaching Standards

·An understanding of SEMH issues

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·SEMH Primary Teacher

·Delivering lessons to primary students in small classes of 4-6

·Working closely alongside resident therapists to deliver an innovative therapeutic curriculum

·Pay: £140 - £200 per day, paid weekly

·ASAP start - Long term contract - full-time position

·Located in the South London borough of Lambeth
