Secondary Teaching Assistant with SEN experience required: -

  • September start
  • Assisting ASD students in a number of classes in Year 9,10,11

A Secondary School in the London Borough of Greenwich is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with Autistic students. The successful applicants will join a highly respected and effective team and start in September.

You will be responsible for working in class under the direction of the class teacher working with pupils in small groups and also on a 1:1 basis. The small group of students will range from 3-6 students in Years 9,10 and 11. The school itself is very modern, making it an amazingly practical facility as well as being aesthetically pleasing.

The school is filled with the best available resources to support teaching and learning. The Headteacher has worked tirelessly with the teaching and support staff to create an ethos which put simply is to develop within a state of the art building.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Hold a teaching qualification such as CACHE
  • Experience in working with Autistic children
  • Must hold a valid DBS disclosure
  • Be creative and initiative
