Job description

Do you have recent experience supporting secondary aged pupils, in a mainstream School? Are you local to Greenwich or live within a commutable distance?

Remedy Education are looking for Secondary Learning Support Assistants to work in a secondary school based in Greenwich. This is an all through school, however the role is support secondary aged pupils, although they may be working at a primary age level. This is full time, Monday to Friday with the possibility of doing overtime in the Post-16 site.

The role:

  • Support Autistic pupils in the secondary department
  • Follow the pupils IEP, and EHCP's
  • Work closely with outside agencies and fellow LSA's
  • Build strong rapport with pupils
  • Help to create an inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience and an understanding of ASD
  • Ideally, experience in a school setting
  • Good communication skils
  • Live local to Greenwich
