Role: PRU Teacher Assistant - Secondary

We are looking for a PRU Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming team within a PRU based in South London, this will be based within their Secondary school. The school represents students from KS3 through to KS5, supporting young people who are unable to access mainstream education, they have some students on long or short placements that will be returning into mainstream or supporting students that will be moving on to further education or work.

What are the school looking for…

• Therapeutic teaching approach
• Social Emotional Mental Health experience
• Positive role model to support communication, with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach
• Experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication teaching background
• Ability to build strong relationships with vulnerable students
• Experience working with ASD and ADHD
