The role will consist of in-classroom support and the undertaking of intervention classes, either as a group or 1 to 1 basis. This is a prime opportunity to experience life at the heart of the classroom.

Job Description

• English/ Maths/ Science Teaching Assistant
• Supporting throughout your desired subject and department
• Aid with the Class Teacher's planning and preparation for lessons
• Focus on specified children's attainment and understanding
• Group and 1:1 intervention support
• ASAP start
• £75 - £85 a day - with potential to increase after 12 weeks

Person Specification

• 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
• Degree must be relative to a Core Subject (English, Maths or Science)
• Tutoring and Mentoring experience desirable
• Aspirations to become an English, Maths or Science Secondary Teacher
• Strong academic background (A levels and GCSEs)
• Experience working with children will boost your application
