Are you a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking your next position in a forward thinking, supportive and encouraging Secondary School?

Remedy Education are working with an Ofsted rated Outstanding Secondary School in Southwark who are in need of a HLTA to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full time position that will run until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

About the role - HLTA - Southwark:

• To support students with learning needs or SEN; including those who need assistance in accessing the curriculum or who need additional tasks and activities to help them reach their full potential
• To support key students in classes, liaising with the subject teacher to ensure suitable differentiation is provided
• Working within a team to plan and administrate spelling, reading and other specialised tests for students
• Collaborating with parents and teaching staff to plan and carry out personal learning plans for students
• Work closely with students with an EHCP
• Line manage and develop the practices of teaching assistants

About the candidate - HLTA - Southwark:

• The successful candidate will be an accomplished HLTA with experience working within a Secondary setting, or an experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in their career
• You will be confident managing other and carrying out administrative tasks
• You will be able to build constructive working relationships with students and staff alike
