The Role - ASD Teaching Assistant

This ASD Teaching Assistant role will consist of you working very closely with students inside of a classroom that will each have Special Educational Needs (SEN) of some sort. The majority of these students will have ASD and may sometimes display Challenging Behaviour so you must be prepared to deal with this. Your job will be to provide the students with efficient support in order for them to be able to catch up with the other students inside the class. This may be 1:1 academic support or even emotional support.

The School - ASD Teaching Assistant

This SEN School provides an alternative provision for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) that are unable to remain in a mainstream setting. It is located in Greenwich and can easily be found if you were to arrive via public transport. Around 200 pupils attend this SEN School and after its latest inspection in 2019, Ofsted awarded the school a 'good' rating.
