An 'Outstanding' School in the Borough of Greenwich are looking for a Science Teacher - Biology Specialist to join their Science Department. The posting is a full-time position commencing in April 2024.

The Head of Science has put a massive focus on inclusivity in STEM subjects, creating extra-curricular clubs; ensuring more practical time in lessons; and supporting teachers in having extra PPA time to make lessons engaging for all.

As such, uptake of STEM subjects has increased with passionate, high achieving students. The Head of Science has also ensured the department is over staffed with TAs to support teacher's lessons.

* Strong understanding of teaching standards,
* Biology related degree at 1:1 or 2:1 from reputable university,
